Noticing Selina's reluctance to dive into delicate topics (not that she'd blame her, mind you) Dinah was torn between backing off and letting Selina say what she wanted when she wanted, or pushing, poking and seeing if anything else slipped out. She decided on the former only when she realized that the latter was pretty much a 'work' response- not a 'play' one. And this was definitely for play.
Besides, vulnerability and trust never came free-- if you wanted them, you had to give the same in return. And Selina was already trusting Dinah with quite a few secrets. It would be Dinah's turn soon and she wasn't certain she was ready to give as much as she got. Better to hold off and let Selina dictate the pace of this renewed friendship.
She shrugged, "Same old, same old. I've pretty much been lying on my couch, drinking honey straight out of the bear since that party." And switching between ice and heat for sore muscles and bruises-- but her throat was working and the majority of her soreness and stiffness was gone. Actually, all things considered, Dinah was feeling pretty good.
"How are things..." Don't push, Dinah. She thought to herself. You're not interrogating her, you're trying to have a friendly, normal conversation that doesn't revolve around superheroics, "...at the Foundation?"
