It was good to see Ted again, and Selina found herself smiling easily as he spoke - glancing up at Dinah and grinning. He'd always been hard on her, but at the time she'd needed him to be. Toeing off her training shoes, Selina put the roll of white tape between her teeth as she climbed up and into the ring with ease, dipping under the ropes in one fluid motion. The run to the gym had gotten her heart rate up, she just needed to stretch a little and work out the know that was still niggling her shoulder.
Dropping down to sit on the haunches, Selina pried the tape from between her lips, wrapping it quickly around her hands as she look up at the other woman. The expression on her face was one of mild amusement, but there was something underneath. Selina's eyes always gave more away than she wanted them too.
"Fine." she replied quickly, swapping hands and wrapping the other one. "Keeping myself busy since the end of the world - the usual." Their text conversation the previous night had descended quickly into chat, and Selina still wasn't sure she was exactly comfortable with it. But it'd bee a long time since she'd had anyone to confide in. Bruce was one thing - but it wasn't as if he was game for a chat at the moment, they hadn't even shared a bed in two weeks. The situation with Kal was consuming his every waking moment, and presently that was 24/7.
