Similarly dressed, Dinah walked to the edge of the ring and held the ropes apart, offering a hand to help Selina climb in.
"Just a warm up." She assured her with a smile, "Don't worry about it."
"I see how it is." Ted said from across the ring, "My two favorite girls are just gonna up an' leave poor ol' me outta all the fun. No love for th' Champ, I tell ya. Showin' up late without so much as a 'hey how are ya?'" He gave a melodramatic sniff, raising one bear paw of a hand up to wipe delicately at his eye.
Laughing, Dinah rolled her eyes, "Two favorite girls? I hope you don't say that to all your dates, Ted, it probably won't work out in your favor."
He made a face at Dinah as if to say 'I know your Momma didn't raise you to sass your elders 'n' betters' while walking over to put an arm over Selina's shoulder, giving her a solid pat on the back. Dinah just grinned.
"Alright, alright, let an old man outta th' ring." He said, once his greeting was done, climbing down with all the agility of a man half his age. Once he was out of the ring, he leaned through the ropes, pointing at them, "I want a fair fight here. No tricks, gimmicks, weapons or powers." He said, wagging his finger at Dinah, who held up her hands to show that the thought had never crossed her mind.
So help him, if they fought anything like they did so many years ago- he was going to need a can of Pam and a crowbar to pry them apart; which was going to make for one interesting day for the old boxer.
Ted held up his hand in acquiescence, giving the match his blessing and wandering off to help his younger students.
Leaning back against the ropes, Dinah smiled at Selina. "Take your time warming up- don't let me rush you." She said, rolling her shoulders and prepared to take a little more time stretching out to give Selina a chance to do the same. Quietly, she added, "How have things been?"
