Doug heard the faintest hit of a familiar voice. He could now recognize Stephanie quite easily, and apparently he wasn't the only one, as he looked at Spidey, then across the way to the other rooftop, where both Robin and Batgirl were watching.
"Heads up, whoever you are that is Spider-Man," Cypher said. "There are ladies watching us from a distance." He waved at Batgirl and indicated that she and Steph should maybe come over and say hi when they were done spying. "What would the odds be that we all go to the same Gotham high school?" Although he was pretty sure Batgirl didn't. He would have recognized her body speech at this point no matter what she wore. Besides, her language difficulties would have made her stand out further. Maybe all the bats and robins were home-schooled.
Also, Steph had yet to tell him how her costume change had gone over with Batman, and he was eager to learn. She was like his only friend these days, which was bizarre considering not long ago he was pretty sure she'd hated his guts.
Doug glanced over to Spider-Man again. "You prefer blondes? Because the one in the full-body scary costume is my girl."
