Reed didn't bother to answer with words but nodded sourly. He'd seen it. Oh boy had he seen it.
The dark look on his face was almost one of resignation. He could do it apparently. Reed hadn't filed a patent for the design-- it wasn't even the design they ended up using... no law would side with the Fantastic Four even if it was only a matter of paperwork. But if Luthor had stolen all of the designs that went into the Fantasticar, they could be in serious trouble. Reed's Zero-Point Energy invention was not ready for a mass market-- who knew how dangerous it could prove to be to the layman.
