After everything that had happened in the last two weeks and a half, she felt this was a well-deserved vacation. The party last night had been fun, but it'd also been a lot of work and emotionally draining. Lazing around all day, hanging out with friends and enjoying the sun and waves? That's just what she needed to recharge her batteries.
She'd set her overnight bag in her usual room and let the others go about and find whichever guest rooms they wanted for themselves before changing. She'd brought some food too, which she'd helped to place in the fridge. There was a grill out back, not that she knew how to use it. She was really hoping someone did. If not, they could go down to the pier and hit up the restaurant. There was a lot she didn't know about her friends. On the one hand, it was sad that she'd asked so much of them without getting to learn more. On the other hand, it meant that there was still more to learn.
She stood out on the porch over looking the beach with a blanket in hand. She'd shed her clothes down to her bikini and was trying to scope out the proper place to lay out like a cat in the sun. The others were around doing their own thing. In her room, in her bag laid a small box. In the box was another communicator. She'd brought Mia along so that they could invite her, but she wouldn't do that without everyone else's approval. Of course, that meant getting to talk with everyone when she wasn't around.
