Who: Jennifer and Satana NPCs: N/A When: July 22, 2012 [Shortly before and then probably during This Scene] Where: Gotham City, Jennifer's apartment What: Jennifer can't make it to the Outsider Throwdown because she's gotta deal with The Devil's Daughter. Rating: PG-13 - it's Jennifer and Satana. I can not imagine this staying long in the land of PG
Taking the steps up to her apartment two at a time, Jennifer refused to look at her watch. She was running late, she had gotten held up at work, because it was like the masses had descended up on the dinner. Jennifer got it - she figured that a lot of people were out and about enjoying the normal weather today. And enjoying being able to go out without the threat of Frost Giants. Bikini weather was back after all! And Jennifer was so glad, winter was a pain in the ass when it showed up during it's scheduled time, and it was even worse when winter showed up early, and brought with it Frost Giants. Or maybe that was that the Frost Giants showed up and brought winter. Whatever - what mattered was the bad guys got their butts handed to them, summer was back, and Jennifer could wear her shorts and tank tops again, and go back to bugging her boss to put a patio outside their restaurant.
Of course with the end of one thing - a new thing started. Namely winter might have wrapped up, but The Question was emailing about some sort of threat. So she had rearranged her work schedule, so that she could be free and clear for her three o clock appointment with - well whatever it was The Question felt needed to be faced. Of course Jennifer planned to go, she was curious as all hell to see what was up! But now she was going to have to change super fast, and do a quick teleportation spell to New York in order to be there in time. She was just glad she had laid out her clothes the night before. She didn't have some sort of super hero costume like those other guys, so she was planing on wearing jeans, layered tank tops, boots, hoop earrings, and a set of bracelets. She figured she'd feel way covered up, but she didn't know what kind of situation she was going to be walking into.
Then again - there was that chick in Gotham who she had heard wore fishnets while fighting crime ... hmm ... maybe she should look into that ...Thinking about the fashion choices one might make when dealing with crime, and the like, Jennifer reached the door of her apartment, unlocked it went and in, to find that she had company. Company that was making herself at home and had the contents of Jennifer's closet and dresser drawers laid out everywhere.
What the hell - literally what the hell ...
"Oh no. Not you. And what the - put down that bra!"
