Jason became tense, "Fine you can believe that. But he buried me and I'm sure he watched you in the hospital, but the Joker still ran free. Still ruined just as many lives as you say Bruce saved."
The cool, calculated thoughts were blurring and he was speaking from raw emotion now, "He's been doing the same thing for years. That may give him some fucking experience, but that doesn't mean he can't become outdated."
He looked down again and then straight at her. The thought that maybe he shouldn't have come here in the first place crossed his mind.
"Maybe you're fine with him just being dead. And again, I'm not saying I'm not a little thrilled. But it's not over, B. Maybe there will never be another Joker, but plenty more people will try. They'll go after him. They'll go after someone close and there's a chance they'll succeed. And when they do, Bruce will punch a little harder for a couple of months and then throw someone else into a goddamn costume like nothing ever happened."
