You read the papers. He never stops, never slows down. Arkham and Blackgate can't even hold him. What did it feel like the first time he broke out and pulled something after he shot you?"
Jason was crossing into dangerous territory, he knew that. But he expected her to understand more than anyone. By the time he came back, Bruce had already recruited a new Robin and now he had some kid stealing his tunic and parading around the city. And of course the Joker was still free, meaning he was unavenged. It was an endless cycle.
"Things change, he hasn't. Didn't you even wonder what it would take for someone to stop him? I'm not sad he's gone, but Bruce didn't do shit to help."
