New York: Arsenal, Jade and open to GL Rayner
And there Kyle was always mucking up her plans... If she thought about it, that was probably pretty telling of their relationship, but Jen didn't dwell on it. Roy was a sniper, he was going to cover her. The fact that Kyle was also there wasn't going to change that in her mind. "Let's go, Marty McFly," Jen teased as Roy stepped onto the hoverboard and lifted them both off the ground heading in the direction of the Frost Giants.
She wished Kyle wouldn't do that - mess with Roy's mind, but until she had proof that that's what was happening, she wasn't going to say anything. Maybe it was just a misunderstanding. People weren't themselves in trying times, or something like that. Maybe she was just overly sensitive right now and picking up on things that weren't there.
"I hope you have lots of explosive arrows," she said and gave Roy a wink. "And don't listen to Green Latrine, I'm not gonna let you get batted out of the sky. And yes, I've been waiting all day to say that to somebody. I was just hoping it'd be Hal or Guy, though."
If Kyle's constructs of a Santa Claus sleigh weren't ridiculous enough, Jen upped the ante by making a massive green Pikachu the likes of Mothra had never seen and squared off with one of the nearing giants. The green Pikachu raised its hands towards the heavens, let out a battle cry and pulled down a chunk of electricity from the sky, also courtesy of Jen, which struct the Frost Giant squarely in the back. The giant didn't seem to like that and stagged around a little bit before roaring out in anger.
"Oops." Except she wasn't being sincere at all. In fact, it was said very much sarcastically. God damn, Jen loved to fight.
