Batman/Captain America + OTA
It took a lot for Batman to tear himself away from Gotham. Not only were the needs of the city in the midst of this disaster pressing, but the need to prove his friend's innocence also weighed heavily on his mind. Add to that a myriad of other situations volleying for his attention at home, coming to New York was not high on his agenda.
However, the summons to Assemble meant one particular thing to Batman - organization - and that was something this situation desperately needed.
This time, Batman flew into New York to avoid the icy roads and before he landed on the flight deck of the downed Helicarrier, he even called in his flight plan. He had no time to waste arguing with Hill, or anyone else over insignificant details that could be avoided by just playing along for once.
Letting the agents secure his jet, Batman watched for a minute to make certain they had everything under control, then strode confidently forward to greet the man he assumed had sounded the call. "Captain," he nodded once, his tone about a friendly as it ever got, while in the suit, with people he didn't know well. "Superman won't be joining us today."
