"Good," she said, taking the thermos and cutting the 'boy' off the end of her statement. Trading him for the insulated cup full of his protein shake concoction, richer than usual, Pepper gave him a firm look that very clearly said he was going to drink it because they were still on her time now, and he wasn't going to argue. She only had fifteen minutes, but she was going to get as many calories into him as possible in that time, and that shake was loaded with them.
"No one wants to see you run around naked, Tony," she lied. Almost everyone wanted to see Tony run around naked, for reasons varying from perverse pleasure to rising stocks. "But photos and intensive first aid are a completely different story, one both of us will just have to keep looking forward to." Her tone was dry. Since Tony regarded hospitals on a par with the Spanish Inquisition, Pepper had gotten used to tending to all but the most serious of his injuries.
Going to the desktop at his request, Pepper called up the screen he wanted and with a twist of her wrist and lift of her hand, the full size arc reactor rose from the table surface for Tony to examine. Moving to one side, she stood by, watching him in case he needed assistance.
