He did make a face as she pushed a hot thermos into his hand and announced that it was vegetable soup; it was absolutely his right to be grumpy about vegetable soup. But he didn't need to chew it and when he slugged it down, it was just warm enough to make him feel warm without burning his mouth, because that part would suck. He ached enough already without adding small stupid hurts to it.
Finishing the soup, he passed the thermos back, handling it delicately and carefully; the armor was great for many things, but not fine controls around people. Especially people he didn't want blasted off.
"I'll run around naked, and that will make everyone happy," he said with a dismissive wave. He'd worry about the fallout when he actually got out of the armor. "Add some more photos to the scrapbook of Hero's Pain."
He started to say that he was perfectly fine and just needed to be going when he changed his mind. "Bring up the schematics of the arc reactor." The big one, not his nightlight. "Let see if we can't cut our heating bill a bit while we're at it."
