One minute there would be relative peace and slurpees. In the next? A giant twisted chunk of metal and what used to be a fairly expensive computer console came smashing through the corridor just behind him. Technically, it smashed through the hallway, hit the far wall, and then went through the far wall just as easily. The effect of that particular burst of violence was instantaneous. Alarms. Panic. And probably soon attracting attention to this particular area of the giant space carrier currently orbiting Earth. None of which was relevant to the fact that Apokolips's next visitor had just arrived on Earth (or very close to it, relatively speaking) and was none to happy about it.
Big Barda, in full armor, strode through the large hole she'd just put in the hallway - or rather through the doorway she'd just created. Granted, she had to duck slightly to make her way through it (Earth humans were tiny) but the effect was no less impressive to anyone who happened to be in her path. The ship was immense, interesting, and completely not her concern. She knew, unequivocally, that her quarry was somewhere in the vicinity. He had to be. And she would find him, as was her duty to the Furies and to her lord. The Boom Tube had dropped her off in the middle of the ship and she's simply gone from there, especially as the first few humans she had encountered had not been particularly helpful. Hence the hole she'd just blown through the side of the Carrier. Barda had business to attend and she was not in the habit of being very patient to do it. Or paying attention to collateral damage.
At least she hadn't killed anyone. Yet. When she spotted the shorter man, her eyes narrowed considerably. "Scott." There was no mistaking that tone. It was definitely the you-are-in-really-big-trouble tone and typically meant that something, or someone, was about to get smashed.
