"Yeah, we've met." Kid Flash commented about Batman while zipping over to the Bat Signal so quickly that his hair sticking out the top of his cowl was still swaying to one side when he stopped. "He gave me my first code name. He said I was impulsive. It was really cool!"
Bart stood by the Bat Signal, but didn't really stand still per se. Actually, he didn't stand still at all. His toe was tapping and he'd already reached out to find the switch of the Bat Signal with red gloved fingers and began flicking it repeatedly, like a two year old with a light switch. And it was starting to look like the flashing of the Bat Signal (on-off-on-off-on-off) across the sky would never reach the point of diminishing returns as far as Bart's level of entertainment was concerned.
"This is SO NEAT! Can we get one of these, Grampa Flash? Or should I just call you Flash? That seems weird. Flaaaaaaash. Flashflashflashflash. You know when you say a word so much it starts sounding weird? Say it, 'Fl-aaaaaaaaa-sh'. Hey Grampa; if you're the Flash, does that mean that when you fight crime, you're Flashing people? Get it? Flashing- you're the Flash."
