"Still," she said clearly just as confused, even as she watched it happened. It was still snowing. The scene outside answered that question.
The dog now cold had hopped off the bed and made his way over to the corner of the other room. There was the rustling of papers for a bit before she smelled the mess he was starting to make. She'd clean that up when he was done.
For now, she followed Jason over toward where the TV was as he turned it on. She watched him flip through the channels. That's when she dig picked up her jeans off the corner of the couch and dug her phone out of her pocket to check for a text. When she saw nothing, not even a missed call, she shoved the phone back in her pocket and slipped her pants back on.
Dropping the blanket on the back of the chair, she followed it up by pulling her shirt over her head as well.
