Re: Rogue, Iceman, Wolverine & OT X-Men or Anyone in NYC
He'd wanted better weather. But even he would concede that snow during summer was just plain wrong. Well, at least it wasn't something mystical or whatever; no need to hunt down a scientist or magician who was making this happen, not when there were giants to fight.
Didn't matter they were many times his size - many times anyone's size. They were hurting people and his teammates, and he was really good at cutting things down to size. He was suited up and in the Blackbird in no time, and ignoring the chatter around him, already focused on the fight to come.
The Blackbird reached New York, and seeing Rogue flying alongside them and the giants below who looked very unimpressed at anything she was doing, he unstrapped himself, stood up, and argued his way into having the back hatch opened so he could jump out, claws first.
He landed hard on one of the giants, more through sheer dumb luck, and while he waited to heal from the whiplash, dug his claws in and slowed his descent by clawing up his back. The giant whirled and bellowed with the pain, so he tipped his claws in and managed to keep from being thrown off, even when the giant started beating at him with flicks of a massive club.
