"Great!" Jennie returned just as bright. Jen was pretty easy going and the fact that he wasn't staring at her all slackjawed, or making comments about her being green everywhere, he was okay in her book. You wouldn't think it'd be so difficult, but not a day went by when someone didn't make some comment, even in passing, about the shade of Jen's skin. She was impressed that he hadn't said anything. Yet.
"Cherry is good," she said with a smile. "I'm Jennie, by the way," she informed him, finally dispensing with introductions.
