Lois had one very good reason to be grateful she was so securely tied up: it was difficult for Joker to see just how badly she was shaking, bound in all that saran wrap. There was no way to hide the fact that she was frightened, just as she couldn't do anything to hide her nudity. She'd always been a scrapper though, and if she couldn't hide it, she could still be smart and not let it get the better of her.
The key was to think. It was both difficult and important, because she had the impression that saying the wrong thing, asking the wrong question, would not be good.
"I do like interviews," she said with a nervous laugh, thinking furious for just the right question. She found herself judging everything on some internal guideline.
"Two questions," she said, figuring she might as well try for both. "First - who's your favorite comedian? Second..." Lois looked around again, noticing some things she hadn't before. "Can you tell me what's going to happen here?" She tried very hard not to shiver when she asked the second question, though she knew her eyes were wide and dilated.
