"It is kind of bright I suppose," Selina replied, putting on an almost theatrical squint as she looked him up and down. Truth be told, the costume was overwhelming for her. She'd never seen Superman so close up. Only on TV or in the newspapers - usually striking some patriotic pose. Bit what Bruce had told her had humanized him and she found herself a lot more relaxed than she otherwise would have been.
"And don't worry. It was just a glass of warm milk and bedtime story." She smirked again, finding the pink in his cheeks just a teeny bit adorable.
Crossing her arms over her chest, Selina listened to Clark carefully - watching him take a seat and hoping that chair wasn't covered in cat hair. Bruce certainly wasn't one to talk openly about what he wanted or needed, but she had faith in him. Over the month they'd been together he'd been surprisingly forth coming with information, more so than she would have guessed really. But she was torn, between wanting to ask more, needing to know and wanting to help him - and not pushing too hard.
"Kal, I..." Selina considered her words for a moment. "He knows that I'm here for him, or at least I hope he does. He's already told me so much, let me in." She shrugged a little, rubbing her arms. "We're both a little like that you know, we're both trying to open up..." Selina eyebrows furrowed as she spoke. "I want to him to share that with me, but I don't want to rush him into anything, make him feel like I'm pressuring him..."
"Bruce is -- well. He's complicated, isn't he." Selina sighed to herself, arching an eyebrow. "But I wouldn't have him any other way."
