Batman didn't answer. He had said that, and stood by it. No one and nothing was one hundred percent trustworthy. Not even technology. Especially technology.
He wasn't sure anyone else was in danger, though. At least not yet. So far the attacks had been directed solely toward him and focused on his relationship with Jason. Clark might have a point, but at this point, there were so many things going on in his life that burdening Selina and their nascent relationship with even more of his troubles, so soon, seemed like a disaster waiting to happen.
Slowly looking at him, Batman carefully schooled his face not to reveal how Clark's words effected him. "Well. She was happy to have a fan. Not many of mine were pleased that I chose to let a thief in - former or not." Packing the book and wrapping back in the box, Batman turned away, his body language changing, closing.
"That might be more practical after two weeks. But I've ruined enough relationships to understand the meaning of 'too much, too fast'." Standing up, he headed back toward his car. "Thank you for your assistance. I can handle things from here."
