Encouraged, Butterfingers nudged closer, and Tony lightly tugged him back before he could cuddle up to Reed, because that never worked well with angles. "Go play with HERBIE," he coaxed.
Butterfingers rolled back a little, and Tony turned his attention back to Reed, who was very insistent that he was doing good. "Run into any speed-bumps on the Fantasti-car? Besides the name." That had to be a place-holder name. Even he was that devoted to a theme.
"Things are good," he decided. "Had cake. Took one of my cars out for a spin." Hung out in the Batcave. "Low-key. Party was fun. I'm going to have to do that for Christmas next year. Love my new desk." It went down into the lab, and not his office, mostly because he couldn't have kept himself from playing with it during business hours.
Butterfingers came rolling back up to them, a section of circuit-board carried proudly in his claw, offering it to Reed. "Please tell me that's not an upgrade for HERBIE you grabbed."
