“Waking up with you isn't too bad.” Selina leaned into him quirking an eyebrow straggling to to laugh at the thought of Batman in some dark crowded dance floor. Though she could make light of it she understood exactly what he meant. Going to bed with one person and ending up with another was exactly why she'd avoided any kind of relationship, even dates, herself. Whilst Bruce had a reputation to keep up, Selina didn't particularly suffer with that problem. All a woman needed to do in Gotham society to make an impression was wear a low cut gown or two and occasionally spill a drink. She had a reputation as a heart breaker, and possibly in some circles as a bit of a tease. Something she hadn't had any issue with until quite recently. She and Bruce had been together at Tony's party and she felt silly admitting t to herself but she'd been afraid. Both of what people would think and what they might do. She and Bruce had been photographed together many times, but there'd never been anything between them before, nothing serious. Nothing worth keeping private. “Don't sell yourself short.”
The thought of seeing Superman in his civilian clothes jarred her for a moment, her mind trying to picture him him in a slightly too large brown suit and round glasses. But the more she thought of it the easier it seemed to become, the thought sidling out of her mind as Bruce continued to talk about Tony. Selina grasped at it for a moment before giving up. If t was important, it'd come back to her.
“I'll be sure not to bite me tongue around him then.” Selina replied. It'd be nice to have a sounding board after all, aside from Bruce and Leslie she spent a lot of her time holding her opinions back and trying to present a Selina Kyle that only cared about charity for appearances sake. “Compliments always mean more when they're sincere after all.”
Bruce speaking about Alfred made her think for a moment, recalling all of the times she'd spoken to him on the phone and in person. She'd never met anyone who seemed so calm and collected. It seemed to her that Alfred could handle anything – even if she would never be completely used to having someone bring her breakfast. Tracing her hand over Bruce's cheek she spoke sincerely “I know. I think the world of him.” Alfred had raised Bruce, the way Selina saw it she had a lot to thank the man for.
Tipping her head back and allowing Bruce access to the soft pale skin of her neck, Selina closed her eyes again simply enjoying the sensation. “I think I'm all woken up now.” she uttered, her head sinking down again her hands moving from around his neck to run back and through her hair sending water falling down over her shoulders. Selina looked Bruce over carefully, admiring him, before leaning in to place her mouth to his. She pressed harder – her tongue running over his lips as she pulled herself away, her hands raised to his chest pushing him back towards the curved wall of the shower - a mischievous glint in her eye.
“And I believe the question and answer portion of this session is over.”
