The Pool - Billy and Open
Billy wasn't much of a social swimmer. It wasn't that he didn't enjoy it, because he did. It was just that he wasn't exactly comfortable enough to be around other people with nothing on but swim trunks. He knew that he was a tiny guy, in comparison to other people. He didn't have any real muscle tone, and his skin didn't get a whole lot of sun. Often, he likened his own limbs to cooked spaghetti, white and thin and wibbly.
But this was a special occasion, and he had decided that, since Kate and the others had gone to such an effort on behalf of Tommy and himself, that he was going to do his best to just have fun. And currently, that involved the pool. Granted, he wasn't splashing around like the other people, but rather relaxing near the edge, his elbows holding him aloft out of the water while he watched the antics, a dopey smile on his face.
