"You have a point," she admitted lowly and accepted the glass from Hal, drinking from it in silence as she studied Hal as he kicked back at her desk and propped his feet up. Carol was non-plussed by this, as she was by his presence in general. "This is the good stuff," she remarked, albeit somewhat bitterly.
"What are you doing here, Jordan? Thought you'd just come and hang out?" She wanted to know, having thought that she had had her fill of humoring him.
She scrutinized him once more before lifting her chin to ask, "What do you know about me?"
