"Har har, Kyle," she said. "Hey, look, don't be jealous that I don't have to go to work..." She said and gave him a shit eating grin.
"You got it, Guy," she said and poured them all another round of shots.
Romantic interest or not, it was about doing the right thing and making sure random Kree jerks didn't go attacking people. Kyle, Hal, Guy, one of them-and it didn't matter who-should have dealt with it. Because the way Jen saw it, it was a Green Lantern problem. And as Kyle already stated, Jen was only a wannabe. She would ask him about it, only because she wanted to know if it had been dealt with and if she had to be worried about returning to the yoga studio what had been the scene of the incident.
"Okay, one, two, three," Jen counted down to doing her shot, tapping the glass on the coffee table before knocking it back. She made a much more exaggerated shuddering noise this time compared to last and quickly followed it with a chaser of beer.
"So, what's new everybody?" She asked, sitting back on her haunches on top of the floor cushion. "Guy, hows your lady friend?"
