Again, Hal's fault. Not Jen's. As much as she'd like to think she could keep up, there was just no going toe to toe with the other Green Lantern. Especially when there was bonding going on. Jen needed to be properly sauced for that. Granted, Kyle might have had a point that Jen needed to cool it on all of that, the drinking that is, and perhaps the hanging out with Hal, but she was still in the afterglow of graduation. She's get on with it, getting a job, soon enough.
"What do you want on your pizza?" She asked, phone pressed against her ear, while waiting for someone on the other line to answer. She scowled at Kyle, shook her head and rolled her eyes.
"Are you kidding me right now?" She wanted to know. "He's your hetero-life mate. I'm the one whose gonna feel like like they're interrupting. I thought we could all hang out," she said, trying not to feel offended that he would say such a thing. They were all friends... Unless Kyle didn't think so any more. Which, to be fair, he'd be well with in his right not to, all things considered. But it didn't make it hurt any less.
"No, we're going to hang out, the three of us and catch up." And that was that. "And if you're concerned because I'm wearing a dress," she continued on. "I'll change if you want. But!" Jen gestured to herself. "No pants," she said, rather proud of herself.
