Tedy remained standing for a few long seconds, searching over her features. Then he sat.
"I'm glad." He looked at her shopping bags, brow creasing. "Billy, he's..." Confused? Uncertain? Afraid? Teddy left it unsaid. "Well, he just doesn't know who is the best person to trust. I'm hoping we can figure that out."
Teddy's eyes weren't unkind, but there was now a thin glaze of guilt on them. It wasn't his intention to hurt anyone. He just didn't like seeing Billy in such a state. But now he was quickly realizing, despite their initial mistrust and her irriation (which she had every right to be), he didn't like seeing Wanda that way either. Shoot, he probably would never be happy seeing someone with so much emotional weariness.
"How does... uh... Tommy feel about all of it? Oh, and let me get you something to drink! Um... water or a smoothie?" He looked to the bags again.
