"I love the theatre," Pepper said quietly, as if it were a secret. She blinked at him for a moment. "I used to be a dancer," she said, her voice dropping even lower. "When I was much younger. I toured nationally, and performed Internationally a few times. It was the only sane part of my childhood. I had to give it up... in college, but I enjoy going to the ballet. Musicals, plays - it's all live and personal, and visceral."
She shrugged though, and added, grinning, "But I like movies, too. That stuff is definitely not for everyone."
He wasn't the only one who had been nervous. Pepper had been for a myriad of different reasons, but she knew Phil, and knew who he wasn't. The last thing she was worried about was that she wouldn't enjoy his company. "I think we've been friends long enough to be aware of what we're getting into personality-wise," Pepper smiled. "And I definitely don't think you're boring - you certainly don't have to thank me for that."
The kiss to her hand was a sweet, well-ment and appreciated gesture, but she was starting to feel a little uncomfortable. Putting her free hand over his, Pepper smiled. "I'd love to. That sounds like fun. I'm sure there's a nursery nearby we can go to, I'll look some up."
