It was going to pour, and Selina was going to let herself get drenched. One of the good things about the rain in Gotham that it made her shower when she arrived home so much better. The rain drops came thicker and faster, the rumble of thunder overhead making the building reverberate. Selina walked away from the edge of the building glancing out into the city briefly. It still took her breath away after all of these years. The glowing neons, the financial and business district in the distance Wayne tower rising above them all in the centre - it was almost like a castle.
But something was off.
She'd lived in Gotham long enough, crossed these roof tops too many times not to know when something, or someone was watching her. Call it a sixth sense or maybe she was just too much like her name sake. Selina's heckles rose on the back of her neck as she glanced behind into the darkness, her hand wavering over the whip that clung to her hip. Something was definitely off and she figured whoever it was would make a move soon.
"You know it's rude to stare?" She spoke loudly, clearly and with conviction.
" - and if you want an autograph, I've started charging."
