"The other thing means a lot to me," she admitted. "And you can just put the pots on this thing," she said setting it on the conveyer belt for the large washing machine. It cleaned everything. Made life easier. "If anything, you'd just have to dry," she said elbowing him in the side before heading back to get another tray. "I've got skills and resources. I can help people. The other thing has been goal for me for a long time. I didn't just wake up one day and go 'hey, i'm gonna run around and do this.' I put a lot of time in it and I don't have powers so, I can't just get up and do stuff. Most of my time is just maintaining what I've learned so far," she said putting the pan on the conveyer belt.
"Also, my friends wouldn't really understand what I do. Meeting you guys," she said moving out of the way of someone trying to unload their pan, "meeting you guys has been really great." She gave him a grateful and slightly tired smile, "I don't have to hide this from you. I can relax, and when I'm out with the guys, it's a lot of fun. You see a lot of bad things, but when you work together and get it right, it's just an awesome feeling."
She pulled off her apron and hung it by the door. "You guys don't mind if we sign out, right?" They waved off the kids and she moved over to the clipboard and checked her phone for the time before putting it in. "You wanna do something else?"
