Laura's back still to him, she looked out over the rooftops. Even though she looked like she wasn't paying attention, she was keenly aware of where he was and what lay between them. The amount of distance, his estimated weight and mobility from how she'd watched him move were also taken into account. Her body would've looked relaxed to any untrained eye, but she stalked she radiated being a predator to anyone who knew how to spot the signs.
"I was looking for the hooded one," she said quietly. "I found you." That's when she turned to look over her shoulder. "Have you seen him?"
