Nodding, Steph held his hand tightly and followed. She was secretly pleased to find that she could keep up with him just fine, and she didn't feel the least bit out of breath. She kept silent (uncharacteristically) during the run, knowing that Robin wouldn't appreciate her motormouth anymore than anyone else would at the moment.
Something was up and she had a feeling that it wasn't something she'd like very much.
The sight of the warehouse brought questions in her mind but she didn't voice them since it seemed like Robin was reading her mind already. So she just listened and the carefully blank face turned into a smile when he produced the box. Steph looked up and wrapped her arms around him in a hug.
"Thanks. I do. It's perfect." It didn't explain his absence or give her a hint about what the something was, but it was progress. In a way.
