Teddy was quite happy to go along, and it showed, even if he tried to keep his demeanor in check due to Billy's more introverted misgivings. So he didn't quite trot along at the side of the other like a puppy... mostly.
Teddy also had another reason to be interested in this venture. Magic was a mystery to him. And it was cool! Things he had seen Billy do, especially with just tracking down the "ping", had intrigued him. Outright, he wanted to know more about it--not because he wanted to try to attempt it. No. He wanted to understand.
Because he especially wanted to understand the magic user by him. Oh, and keep him safe. That was a big part of it also.
His blue eyes perused the house, and he followed just a step behind Billy now. This was his show, and he understood that. He pulled the bill of his red cap up a bit, looking up at the facade while Billy knocked. A tense moment, an exchanged shrug, and another knock.
Was anyone home? Maybe not. Wait! Steps.
Teddy gave one of his typical little, awkward waves at the sight of the man who greeted them. Well, so far so good...
