"You got that right," Carol returned, equally as under her breath.
"No chance of hustling you now, though," she quipped after she had taken her turn and gathered her darts.
She stepped down after that, letting the guys approach them and gather darts, since it seemed that this is what they were going to do. Just as well, really, she knew how uncomfortable Maria was discussing personal matters. Maybe just as uncomfortable as Carol was to listen to them.
"Not bad, yourself." Carol nodded her approval. "So, what are the terms? And by the way? What are we playing? Cricket?" It seemed like the easiest one to make a drinking game out of.
