Sue still wouldn't be happy until the problem was resolved, but she knew from Johnny's tone that he was telling the truth. She could read Johnny like a book, and he'd lied to her enough times over the years that she could tell the difference. Plus, she knew he hated when she got the tone of voice she'd just used.
