There were a lot of words that would describe Wally's relationship with his Rogues, but 'normal' wasn't one of them. Which is probably why, even after leaving for Metropolis, he found himself getting an email from James AKA The Trickster telling him that the Rogues were heading for New York City. Complete with smiley face.
Just because they were his 'villains' it didn't mean he didn't find himself liking them every now and then.
He wasn't too worried, to be honest. Sure, the Rogues weren't the nicest people, but there were a lot of heroes around. And the Rogues had rules and a code of honor, which definitely made his job a lot easier. Still, it couldn't hurt to check in.
Plus he still owed Len a beer.
It didn't take long to find which bar (and of course it was a bar, these were the ROGUES) they had holed themselves into, and within a second he was sitting next to Captain Cold casually, tilting an invisible hat in his direction.
