Lois shook her head again, amused. "No," she said. "Definitely not for me. I didn't want anything to do with him on... that deep a level. But I kept his secret, and he always made sure I got an invite to his parties, and whenever we saw each other, things were pleasant." She shrugged. "It would never have been more than that if it weren't for Clark, but it's not a bad thing, really. They both need someone who understands them. I don't really get how they relate to each other, but that's there thing, not mine."
