"...But this is Gotham." Selina replied, finishing his sentence for him. "You always have to consider the consequences of your actions, or learn the hard way. Trust me on that one." Selina reached up with a loved hand, adjusting her goggles slightly.
"But you've made a good start here," she continued, "Doctor Thompkins will look after you, point you in the right direction." Selina spoke fondly of Leslie, turning her back to Doug and looking out of the window back into the night. She couldn't stay here any longer. The trail of blood along the roof tops would be drying up, but if anyone came looking she could lead them away from the clinic quickly.
"..She's good at that..." Selina spoke again walking over to the window and tugging it up, her arm still hurting - but at least the bleeding had stopped, and the bandage was good and tight. The kid had done a good job after all.
