"It worked tonight, didn't it?" Spider-man said and watched as she went to turn it off. At least it was going to get use out of someone, though it wasn't exactly the purpose he wished for it to get. She reached into her cleavage and Spider-man asked, "There's room to fit things in there?" He wished he hadn't said it but it sort of just...slipped out of his mouth. He couldn't even play the "I'm a teenage boy" card at this point.
He listened as she explained. "I've got obligations," he said, "And my life isn't that boring. I've got things coming up. Exciting things." Like possibly interning at Kord Inc over the summer. Which was his ideal summer but it was hard to tell. The paper was in his hand and she'd used that date word. Four letters and so complicated.
"Do you dress up like this all the time?" he asked, ignoring the date discussion and stuck the number in the sleeve of his suit. It'd stay there and he'd think about it. Texting her couldn't be that bad. "A cat and a spider caught in the rain. That sounds like a recipe for disaster," he joked.
