"So it's true," Jason said, completely ignoring his accusation, "Moving on."
He hit play again, fast forwarding through bits he deemed boring. No one needed to record their thoughts on what a shithole Gotham was. Everyone knew that already. Then he heard the name Pennyworth. Jason looked at the kid, rewinding back again. There was mention of the Manor and "... although observant and familiar with the manor, Pennyworth is hardly an adequater jailer especially when his default means of defense is none other than a shotgun..."
So he was in the Manor. Possibly the cave. That would explain the tunic.
Jason was focused on the recorder, hitting buttons, stopping and playing at will, completely ignoring any threats the child threw his way. He caught the word "Father" a few times, so set his sight on finding that out. Apparently Father had went out of town.
Batman's not here.
Something about Father's manor.
Wayne Manor?
And then: "The fact that Father allows these costumed vermin their continued existence remains the biggest mystery"
Bruce. Jason's mind raced. Bruce and Talia did have a history. The kid knew about the manor, Alfred, the cave. It was no coincidence he just stumbled upon that costume. He stopped the recorder.
The information was definitely something he could use later. He looked up at the kid, signaling that he put it all together.
