Damian started. He wasn't used to people being able to sneak up on him. (Just one more annoyance this city held.) The recorder fell from his hand. It clattered against the stone for a moment before coming to a rest.
Damian's hand wrapped around the hilt of his sword as he tried to turn and stand simultaneously. It was hardly the most graceful of motions. His eyes narrowed in annoyance as he got a proper look at the newcomer. The Red Hood seemed to love involving himself in affair that didn't concern him. He left his sword in its hilt. For now.
"Isn't it obvious?" he challenged. He was wearing a Robin costume in Gotham. The connection should have been clear enough for even a four year old. The obvious assumption being that he clearly had Batman's tacit approval. (Technically, Damian had appropriated it but he figured it was still part of his due and Father would come around.) Besides, didn't the city currently have two Batgirls out and about?
