Lex looked smugly amused as he regarded Wayne. "If I can figure out a way to capture your attention for a full thirty minutes, Bruce, I'll have the election made. Of course, I could just resort some pretty women flitting about the stage..." The smirk widened.
"I have a very good campaign team, and I took my time finding them. Each plays an important role in my work. And," he shrugged, "I've found that years in the corporate field have honed my speaking skills. I've faced boards of trustees and reporters much more fierce than a crowd full of voters."
"And above all," he smirked again, "although I am rich beyond this country's wildest dreams, I also work to keep it stable and prosperous. I don't sit around LexCorp tower, keeping myself form the public eye, counting my money. No, I strive to better the lives of those around me, with works, jobs and technology. The populace can respect that."
