Who: Damian Wayne and Open to anyone with access to the Batcave
When: Tuesday, May 29th, Night
What: After stopping at Selina's place, Damian continues making the rounds and attempts to break into the Batcave
Rating: PG-13
It had taken some time (and more effort than Damian wanted to admit) but he'd managed to track down Catwoman. The timing had been particularly fortuitous since within a week of finding her apartment and staking it out, she was just about to leave town. Most likely, Damian had surmised, off to steal more things that didn't belong to her.
The limo and her choice of company was a bit of a shock, to say the least. Damian had spent far too much time glowering before finally moving to take advantage of the situation. Breaking into Selina's apartment wasn't terribly difficult and it hadn't taken to locate and reacquire his sword. The act should have left him feeling please and triumphant and yet...
It wasn't that he'd been avoiding Batman. Oh, no, Damian had made sure to keep abreast of all of Batman and Bruce Wayne's activities as much as he could (which was easier said than done when one's Father was the World's Greatest Detective.) But, he kept telling himself, things were complicated. Damian had yet to make any considerable mark in Gotham although he was well acquainted with the city thus far. It was that every time he speculated about meeting the other man... it never seemed... opportune.
But for the next few days, that wouldn't be an issue.
And there was one very important place he'd yet to explore.
Damian had spoken with Bruce Wayne's secretary earlier in the day and she'd confirmed that Mr. Wayne would be out of town. Father had many resources that outstripped his own, especially at this point. Besides, everything in and under Wayne manor was destined to belong to him. It couldn't hurt to drop in, test security, and take a look around.
Mother had provided him with a good overview. There were more egresses than Damian had expected. Apparently the bats did leave the cave to feed. The security information Damian took with a grain of salt. No one in their right mind would keep any protocols or passwords for more than a month, at maximum. He wasn't overly concerned with the human factor either. He had been raised by the League of Assassins.
So Damian had chosen an entry point, the one he believed was most lacking security, and decided to take up the challenge.
