Reed brushed his thumb over the back of his wife's hand and only moved once their food was brought out. He couldn't remember what they'd ordered during their first date (honestly, Reed wasn't certain that he'd actually eaten on their first date) and since he thought they had probably changed their menu since 1998, Reed ordered them something "new".
It was about the time when the food came out to their table when the streets outside seemed to get more crowded- and not with the usual New York dinner crowd. Reed glanced towards where the paparazzi were peering in, trying to get a good shot of the couple having dinner inside. Reed didn't quite sigh and he didn't quite chuckle, and instead turned one of his rare, playful smiles, "Would you like to tell them that it's a special occasion, darling, or shall I?"
