Selina raised an eyebrow, thinking back to the sleek black batmobile, the roaring sound of it's engine that always filled her with a heady mix of fear and excitement. But there were also to Bruce's other cars, the ones he used during the day. For all Selina was a cat, she had eyes like a magpie. They were shiny and they appealed to to the side of her that just wanted to touch expensive things. Even if it was just for a second.
As his expression softened, she tilted her head, leaning forward herself to place her elbows in her lap and hold her chin in her hands.
"No -- " she replied simply, " -- I don't think I'm going to be okay for a while - but if we're on the subject of secrets, I think I should tell you something..." Selina leaned forward a little more, closing the distance between them, her eyes locked on his. She had to be brave, because she couldn't imagine Gotham giving her a second chance at this moment. It had never been that kind to her.
She spoke softly, honestly, a scared whisper. Words she only imagined saying, words she didn't think she would ever say or need again.
"Selina Kyle, Catwoman -- I love you. All of you."
Selina stayed perfectly still, her body tensed and waiting, watching him for any kind of reaction.
