He didn't go. Well, not far. Leaving her a note, Bruce went for a walk, clearing his head while she disappeared into her room to think over everything he'd given her. It was a more than reasonable request and he was willing to give her whatever time she needed to adjust.
Bruce didn't vacation well. At least when he had company, he had someone to distract him from his restless thoughts, but left to his own devices, he inevitably drifted back to his work. Returning to the room some time later - he wasn't sure how long he'd been gone - after noting that Selina's door was still closed and she didn't appear to have moved, he threw his note away and moved the trunk containing his suit into his own room, storing it away again.
Unpacking his laptop, Bruce stretched out on the bed, back against the headboard, and began doing more research on his fellow Avengers, working on some schematics for the new car he was planning to build with Tony, and trying not to think about what was going on in the room at the opposite end of the suite.
