Bruce had spent the last hour getting ready. He moved most of his suitcases into his own room with the exception of one, prominently placed in the living area. The same case he's spent twenty minutes staring at, trying to determine whether or not he was really going to go through with this.
He knew he was - the decision had been made weeks ago. But now that the time was here, Bruce was uncharacteristically, but perhaps understandably, nervous. Taking a deep breath, he retreated to his bedroom to meditate for a few quite moments, centering himself so that when she came back, she wouldn't notice anything amiss.
Her voice drew him from the room and he found her on the balcony. Moving behind her with a smile, Bruce put his arms around her waist and kissed her cheek. "Did you have a good time?" he asked.
"I was thinking we might go out tonight. Does that sound alright with you?"
