Superman & Ice & Captain America
After waiting for an appropriate pause in the conversation, Captain America chose that moment to cut in. "Agent Olafsdotter, I never got a chance to thank you for your help the other day," he said. Ice possessed a gift that allowed her to manipulate frozen water into the form of snow and ice. This was especially useful to S.H.I.E.L.D. and Steve when they wanted to test how his new Captain America uniform would fare in winter conditions without actually having to leave New York in May. "I appreciate it. There's really no other way we could have tested for those conditions without your help, without going somewhere else," he finished sincerely.
Then he turned his attention on Superman, one of the men he'd been told was a heavy-hitter and a beacon to their cause, and held out his hand for the man to shake.
"Superman. It's an honor," Steve said, and there was an amused upturn to his lips when he added, "I'd introduce myself, but I'm learning that's a moot point."
