Conner shouldn't have been surprised by the sudden burst of excitement from his date, and yet? He was. He wore a small grin, though, as she led him into the crowd. People could say a lot of things about Megan, but she was probably the only pers on he knew who was genuinely excited about...well, life. With a quick mask check, he joined his date dancing as his brows quirked at the sea of teenagers around him going farther than he thought was appropriate for the event. Not that Conner hadn't had his moments of, uh, intense dancing, but this was a school dance.
Everything was going fine until something caught his attention -- what was Bart doing? When the song shifted, he couldn't help but laugh. It was on the radio all the time now. He had to admit. It was pretty damn catchy. However, when when his eyes fell back on Bart, he was filled with something akin to horror. He stopped dancing and then pointed toward the display. "Is that happening?" He glanced at Megan. "No, seriously, is that really happening?"
It was like watching a train wreck. A terrible, cheesy, dorky train wreck. By the time he got to Bart and his cousin, it was too late. "Hey guys," he managed, "what's going on?" He was starting to think they needed to keep Bart on a leash.
